So, apparently the UK is set for temperatures to rival Ibiza and the Caribbean. With this weekend set to burst our thermometers, we take a look back over the last few months at our "hot" Secret Singers shows. Watch out summer weddings, Secret Singers are out to surprise you!
We've been lucky enough to visit so many incredible venues on our journeys. Gorgeous country manors, huge expo halls, a 7 star hotel (yes it really does exist!) and most recently a Safari Park. The location was Woburn Safari Park and the occasion was the wedding of Mr and Mrs Parkinson.
What a great idea to give the guests the chance to tour the park and meet the animals, followed by the wedding breakfast and then our Secret Singers Experience! Here's a selection of photos from our show.
We LOVE a kick line! So much that it's become a bit of a trade mark at many of our Secret Singer surprises. Here's a great shot from a recent Singing Waiters performance at the wedding of Mr and Mrs Delaney on 5th July this year.
After a Secret Singers experience we get so many amazing comments from guests including "I never saw it coming", but probably my fave is "That was just the perfect time to bring some excitement and energy to the celebration!". We really do pick everyone up and get them involved with our shows. Including this weekends wedding surprise.
Wow! What a great start to the summer. From the Football World Cup in Brazil to something a little closer to home, Wimbledon! As we prepare to cheer on the current Wimbledon champion, we recently performed a show in the land of Andy Murray... Scotland. Here's a few photos from a show we did celebrating everything musical theatre, plus some classic rock n roll numbers to get everyone dancing!
Here's a great collage from a recent Secret Singers trip to Hogarth Hotel in Solihull for the Wedding of Sarah and Dominic. Photos by Caroline Pritchard Wedding Photography. It was a fabulous day for everyone involved, plus we got to meet a few familiar faces from previous shows.
Today marks the beginning of the FIFA World Cup in sunny Brazil. In times of celebration we always like to say, swing when you're winning!
If anyone caught the Britain's Got Talent final this weekend, then you would've witnessed not one but two male vocal harmony groups, Jack Pack and Collabro. Collabro went on to win the competition, so we thought we'd show you what we've been hard at work doing for the past year. Just over 12 months ago we here at Secret Singers decided to create our very own vocal group "The Brit Tones". From choosing some fabulous singers to be part of the project, creating the set lists, getting the vocals arranged by an amazing musical director, choreographing the show and organising orchestra charts for the group, we did it all! Since then we've done a large number of gigs all over the UK, for private parties, big corporate events, and even a few A cappella surprises. We've got the support of a great agent and the rest of the year holds some really fantastic gigs! Check out our promo video below, and feel free to check out our website; www.thebrittones.com
Here's a great collage from a recent trip to Newcastle and Matfen Hall for a Secret Singers surprise at Debora and Renee's wedding. It was a fabulous occasion, filled with a fantastic venue, and a very excitable group of wedding guests! Huge congratulations to Debora and Renee x
Last weekend I experienced "that" day. The day you search through your wardrobe for your summer gear. Polo shirt, shorts and flip flops! Last Sunday we had the honour of surprising Shirley, who was celebrating her 80th birthday with her family and friends. The day couldn't have been better! Gorgeous hog roast cooking in the garden, bouncy castle for the kids, chocolate fountain, drinks and of course us! Here's a few photos from the day.
We meet so many amazing people through our job. From all the staff at the wedding venues, to the chefs, kids entertainers, wedding breakfast decorators, photographers and so much more. Here's a photographer we recently met during a singing waiters wedding surprise a few weeks ago. Katie Ingram photography made this amazing collage! Please take a look and visit her website www.katieingram.co.uk. For anyone searching for a great wedding photographer in the Coventry area! Stay tuned for more shout outs in regards to many other fantastic wedding companies we meet along the way.
Are we already two months into 2014!? I'm sitting in front of the TV watching the Winter Olympics, thinking about how much we've already achieved this year.
January brought us the incredible opportunity of returning to Singapore to perform our singing waiters show at an exclusive 7 Star Hotel (I never knew this existed!). Being personally invited to return was a huge privilege, and we most certainly left our mark, getting the guests to sing and dance a long to our show. Singing 'Delilah' at karaoke after our show with our new friends was certainly a highlight.
Our most recent project; male vocal harmony group "The Brit Tones" is also gathering pace this year with a host of cruise ship bookings filling the diary. This January was also our debut performance for all our friends at the Wedding Ideas Awards 2014 at the Tower Hotel London. It marked another hugely successful event and a great night for everyone involved in the wedding industry. And if that wasn't enough, just last week we even got to take the group to Center Parcs in Elveden to surprise all the loved up couples and families on Valentines Day. Love was most definitely in the air that evening!
That brings us to February, which saw our national debut on Sky TV's LifeTime channel on a show called "The Proposers". Here we worked alongside the amazing team behind The Proposers to create some fantastic flash mob proposals including recreating that famous "All you need is love" scene from Love Actually (see the video below!).
Oh, I almost forgot... We have a new website! Lots more new content, a more modern look, a new blog and a great FAQ's section for all those wanting to know more about what we can do for you. So here's to a great 2014, full of gold medal performances from Secret Singers! x
